Hello everybody, it’s John, welcome to our recipe page. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, pavlova. One of my favorites. For mine, I will make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Pavlova is a meringue-based dessert named after the Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova. Pavlova is crisp on the edges, chewy on top, and marshmallow soft and creamy in the centers. Pile high with lemon curd, whipped cream, and fresh fruit to make a naturally delicious gluten free dessert!

Pavlova is one of the most favored of current trending meals in the world. It’s simple, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Pavlova is something which I’ve loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can have pavlova using 7 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Pavlova:

  1. Get 3 Large Egg Whites
  2. Get 3/4 cup Caster Sugar
  3. Prepare 2 teaspoons Cornflour
  4. Get 1 teaspoon White Vinegar
  5. Get 150-200 ml Cream *whipped
  6. Get Fresh Fruit of your choice
  7. Take *e.g. Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Kiwi Fruit, Pineapple, Mango, Passionfruit, etc

Pavlova (Pav) is a Meringue Cake that has a light and delicately crisp crust with a soft marshmallow center. This dessert is typically served with whipped cream and fresh fruit.

Instructions to make Pavlova:

  1. Preheat oven to 120C. Line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Using an electric mixer, whisk Egg Whites in a clean & dry bowl until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add Caster Sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating well until meringue is thick and glossy and sugar is well dissolved. Add the Vinegar and Cornflour and fold until just combined.
  4. Spoon the meringue onto the lined tray and shape into a 15 to 20cm disc. Bake for 1 hour or until dry to the touch. Turn off oven and leave, with the door ajar, to cool completely.
  5. Whip Cream until thick. Spoon on top of pavlova and decorate with fresh fruit of your choice. Serve immediately.
