Bruschetta is one of the most favored of recent trending foods in the world. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. It is appreciated by millions daily. Bruschetta is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

Bruschetta is an antipasto (starter dish) from Italy consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt. Variations may include toppings of tomato, vegetables, beans, cured meat, or cheese. Nothing screams summer quite like bruschetta.

To begin with this recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook bruschetta using 8 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Bruschetta:

  1. Get 1/2 pound ripe tomatoes, at room temperature (3 to 4 medium)
  2. Make ready 1 small onion chopped finely
  3. Take to taste Salt and fresh ground black pepper,
  4. Get 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  5. Get 6 basil leaves, thinly sliced
  6. Take 6 (1/2 inch) thick slices Italian or French bread
  7. Prepare 2 cloves garlic, peeled and left whole
  8. Get If you are chilli lovers so you can add chopped green chillies as well

This bruschetta will turn out every time you make it. Use small slices of bread for a unique appetizer, or serve with Italian dishes. A bruschetta makes a great easy starter and even an easy canape with a loaf of French bread. It's the fancy way of saying, "put it on toast".

Instructions to make Bruschetta:

  1. Halve tomatoes then remove and discard the seeds. Chop tomatoes into chunks then add to a medium bowl with a generous pinch of salt, a small pinch of black pepper, 1 Tbsp of the olive oil and the basil & onion Stir and let sit 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat a grill pan over medium heat or prepare an outdoor grill for medium heat. If you have no grill so you can use Tawa.Drizzle bread slices with the remaining Tbsp of oil and grill 2 to 3 minutes on each side until warmed through and grill marks appear.
  3. Rub one side of the bread while still warm with garlic — two to three strokes per bread slice should do it. Stir the tomatoes one more time; taste then adjust with more salt or pepper as needed. Spoon a generous amount onto each bread slice. Drizzle a little of the juice remaining at the bottom of the bowl over tomatoes and Enjoy !
