  5. set aside about 1/4 cup of the reggiano and some slices of mozzarella for the top
  6. assemble lasagna in a 9x13 pan
  7. spread 3/4 cup of tomato sauce on bottom of pan
  8. lay noodles over lapping a little across bottom of pan
  9. spread 1/2 of ricotta mixture over noodles and sprinkle with 1/2 of the reggiano
  10. lay 1/2 the mozzarella and 1/2 the provolone and top with 1 and 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  11. repeat steps 8 thru 10
  12. add one more layer of noodles and top with remaining sauce and cheeses that had been set aside
  13. cook in oven for 30 to 45 minutes, until top is brown and bubbly
