The ingredients needed to make Beef Stroganoff:

  1. Prepare egg noodles
  2. Make ready gluten-free flour (or regular flour)
  3. Make ready beef tenderloin tips, 1/2 inch thick (or stew meat)
  4. Prepare butter, divided
  5. Prepare canned button mushrooms, sliced (can also use fresh)
  6. Get beef broth
  7. Prepare tomato paste
  8. Take worcestershire sauce
  9. Take sour cream

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Season the steak strips with House Seasoning, then dust with flour. In a large skillet, quickly brown them on both sides in the olive oil and butter. Remove the steak from the pan.

Instructions to make Beef Stroganoff:

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain. Keep warm.
  2. Place flour in a large ziploc bag. Add beef to bag. Shake to coat well. Can add a little extra flour, if needed.
  3. Melt 2 tbsp of butter in large skillet. Add beef to skillet. Cook until all pieces are brown on all sides.
  4. Transfer beef & pan juices to a bowl & set aside.
  5. Melt remaining butter in skillet. Add mushrooms & cook until heated through. If using fresh will need to cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in broth, tomato paste, & worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, scraping up any browned bits on bottom of skillet.
  6. Return beef & juices to skillet. Cook until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Stir in sour cream until hot.
  7. Serve over noodles.

Add the onion slices and mushrooms to the pan drippings. Sauté for a few minutes, until the onion is tender. The most amazing Beef Stroganoff you will ever have! Never suffer through dry chewy beef or bland Stroganoff sauce again - this recipe delivers!! Pat meat dry with paper towels.
