  5. Add one cup of water and stir.
  6. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Then add the grated carrot, salt and 1 more cup of water and stir.
  8. Cook for about another 5 minutes and add the last cup of water.
  9. Let the liquid cook down and let the rice rest for 5-10 minutes.
  10. Check seasoning and serve.
