  14. Take 1/2 tsp dried fenugreek leaves or use a sprinkling dried fenugreek
  15. Get 90 grams cold butter
  16. Get 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  17. Prepare 1/4 tsp garam masala
  18. Prepare 45 ml single cream

For the marinade, make small cuts all over the poussin or chicken pieces with a sharp knife to help the marinade penetrate. Mix all the marinade ingredients together in a deep ovenproof dish. This dish is rich and creamy, high in protein and packed with nutrition. The creaminess comes from blending raw cashews with almond milk, my typical go-to for replacing heavy cream in recipes.

  7. If you feel you like this to be a little more sour you can add a few drops balsamic vinegar but this is optional.
  8. Grind up the fenugreek leaves into a powder and add or add a sprinkle of dried fenugreek and the garam mascara. Add a pinch of salt or salt substitute to taste. After 30-45 seconds add the cream. Mix well with the chicken or tofu pieces and serve straight away

This recipe for Indian Vegetarian Butter Chicken is a little different from than my famous butter chicken as it will definitely not make extra sauce.
